Dr. Evans – Gives charge to the Intercollegiate Athletics Council. Discussed the new hires and current athletics seasons. Discussed the Hall of Honor Inductees.
Core Charges: NCAA heavily focused on funds based around student-athletes performance and the APR, Concussion protocols (ask the hard questions), Fan support (keep momentum going)
Tic Price – Discussed the current team and outlook on the season. Adhere to standards, don’t have rules, but must represent 快色视频. Recruit athletes that are long and athletic. Players like to run and recruit to play in the system. A lot of young players. The team must play consistently.
Avery Sullivan – Junior from Austin, Texas. Every day in practice, have a quote of the day. Quotes stick and use in every day life. Feels like the team can be good. Coach Price – when recruiting, was looking for a home away from home. Feels like he can always
TJ Atwood – Senior from Beaumont, Texas. Coach Price - tough love type of coach. More to life than just basketball. Always liked the people I have been around during time at LU. Always stay in touch with all the players he’s played with and met. Team this year is a work in progress. Thinks the team will be fun to watch.
Avery – More resume’ workshops and sexual abuse training. Have a plan after basketball. TJ - More resume’ workshops. Want to have resources and plans after basketball.
Dr. Zaloom – Asked about teamwork during classes.
TJ – Communicate before they travel to set things up. Avery - added that there is always a solution and if they are missing assignments, communicate with the professor and team members.
Tic Price – Four returning players and eight new players. Part of the generation today. Transfer portal is active. Lost one player to 4 concussions. Chose his health over basketball. Enlisted in the Navy.
Marco Born – Hired Heather Wyatt, compliance specialist. Hired Silas Banda, broadcast coordinator, Karla Lopez, administrative assistant.
APR – Hit our benchmark to receive $36,000. The money will double annually and could be over half a million dollars in year 5. Unrestricted money based on academic performance.
Always ask about transfers, what does that do to our APR.
Resume’ workshops this semester and did etiquette dinner. We will do another one in the spring semester.
Hall of Honor event and letterman game. Homecoming parade is good.

Mercedes sprinter van – fundraised for the van, sprinter van on steroids.
Designing new football turf – Current 10 years old and will be funded completely with donations.
Fundraising – December 3 – Giving day campaign
Soccer – Two games this week and last game is November 1. Tied for first.
Volleyball – They are 12th, but have some winnable games coming up.
Signed Affinity Licensing - Higher royalties. Smaller client list.
Discussed future football scheduling
Tried to stay away from the Power 5 scheduling for football.
Begin a strategic plan for the athletics department in January. Be able to present it to our donors to know what they are investing in.
AASP Grant – We were renewed by the NCAA. Summer school, 5th year aid, summer bridge, technology, renovations.
