Dr. Millicent M. Musyoka, an associate Professor within the Department of Deaf Studies & Deaf Education at 快色视频, earned a Ph.D. in Deaf Education from Gallaudet University. Her influential leadership in Deaf Education, which began in Kenya as the lead curriculum specialist at the Kenya Institute of Education Curriculum and Research Center, is a testament to her exceptional journey. Dr. Musyoka's current research focuses on bilingual/multilingualism/multimodality and literacy, technology integration in education, education of Deaf individuals with multiple disabilities, and teacher education. As a prolific author and researcher, she has made substantial contributions through numerous articles, books, and book chapters within the realm of Deaf education and related fields of special education. Additionally, her international endeavors, particularly with projects funded by USAID in developing countries, center on language, literacy, and Deaf learners in early grade levels. Notably, Dr. Musyoka has recently edited three significant books: "Deaf Education and Challenges for Bilingual/Multilingual Students (2022)," "Meaningful and Active Family Engagement: IEP, Transition and Technology Integration in Special Education (2023)," and "Advocating and Empowering Diverse Families of Students with Disabilities Through Meaningful Engagement (2023)."

She finds fulfillment in engaging with fellow scholars involved in global research and creative work. She serves as coordinator and treasurer of the Phi Beta XI Chapter of the Phi Beta Delta Honor Society for International Scholars.
