The members of the Men’s Barebow team -  Cody Sahualla, Allen Sexton and Shawn Blair - won gold in the men’s barebow competition, placing first among thirteen universities across the nation. It’s the second consecutive year the men’s barebow team has placed first.

Cody Sahualla won third place in the men’s individual barebow division; Allen Sexton won seventh place, and Shawn Blair placed 21st. Sherry Banditrat placed 12th in the women’s individual barebow division.

In the entire tournament, the LU Collegiate Archers placed 7 out of 31 competing teams. This victory is nothing new to the LU Collegiate Archers and especially for Sahualla. “I’ve won more than 23 national awards in archery and 81 total,” said Sahualla.

The US National 3D Collegiate Championships are sponsored by USA Archery, the national governing body for the Olympic sport of archery.
